Instruction text for the video upload of the tutor:
In order to help students get to know you better, please upload a 1 – 3 minute long video introducing yourself. This is your opportunity to make a great first impression and showcase your personality and teaching styles.
Please include the following in your video:
- Your name or what you’d like to be referred to
- A brief overview of your background and or teaching style
- A friendly few words about yourself and your interests
Please speak clearly and naturally, as you would when first meeting a student.
Video requirements:
- Duration: 1 – 3 minutes
- Positioning: the video should show a professional front-facing frame (face and upper body)
- Angle: no angled shots, side views, filters or full body videos. Please ensure the camera is eye-level and stable.
- Background: please keep your background tidy, professional and well lit.
- Attire: casual yet presentable is ideal.
